Russ Savage

Russ Savage joined InfoNetrix as a senior research analyst in 2002 where he now also serves as a Utility Business Practice Manager. His primary role at InfoNetrix is management of the firm's Business Horizons™ tactical project activity research for the water/wastewater industry. A key component of InfoNetrix Advisory Services (IAS) market intelligence programs, these surveys provide timely, accurate, fact-filled reporting on planned utility automation and IT project activities at thousands of utilities each year.

With exceptional skills in engineering, training and organization, Russ is a seasoned utility automation professional with over thirty-five years of experience in utility and high technology environments. He has been personally involved in virtually every aspect of utility automation and information technology solutions, from concept and planning, through design and development to installation, commissioning and support.

Earlier in his career, Russ served as a senior executive in several engineering services and information technology companies where he was responsible for project management, operations management, business development and sales channel development.

During his 30-year tenure with a 10,000-person global engineering and consulting firm, Russ developed core competencies in key technical disciplines including, but not limited to automated mapping and facilities management; geographic information systems; computer-aided design and drafting; scanning, imaging and document management systems; data capture and conversion; outage management and work management systems; interactive voice response; design engineering and analysis tools; and various information technology platforms and enterprise solutions.

Russ attended Kansas State University (1966-1968) in Civil and Structural Engineering and is an Alumni Fellow at the KSU College of Technology. He has remained an active member/participant in several professional, technical and industry organizations and trade groups throughout his long care
