Mike Marullo, Principal

Mike Marullo is a co-founder and Principal of InfoNetrix and serves as Director of Strategic Research and Development for the firm where his primary focus is on planning, design and management of the firm's strategic market intelligence products and services.

Mike is an internationally acknowledged expert in real-time automation with specialized competence in supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA). He has been involved in the design, engineering, sales, marketing, implementation and support of real-time automation systems for a wide range of energy, utility, telecommunications, transportation and industrial markets and applications for more than 30 years.

Drawing upon a technical background that includes communications, radar and digital telephony in addition to his primary expertise in the real-time control systems field, Mike has been an independent technical marketing consultant since 1984 and co-founded InfoNetrix with Mike Smith in 2001. Throughout his career, Mike has been a prolific writer and speaker across a wide range of conference, industry publications and other media.

Mike received his electronics engineering training while serving with the Ground Electronics Engineering Installation Agency of the U.S Air Force (1965-69). He holds professional memberships in the American Water Works Association (AWWA); Geospatial Technologies Information Association (GITA); and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Power Engineering Society. He is also a senior member of the Instrumentation, Systems & Automation (ISA) Society. A native of Upstate New York, Mike has resided in the New Orleans, Louisiana metropolitan area for over 30 years.
