Ed Finamore

Ed Finamore joined InfoNetrix as a senior research analyst in 2002 and now also serves as Utility Practice Manager. Ed is a seasoned utility automation/IT professional with nearly thirty years of experience in utility and high technology environments. He is a nationally recognized expert in automatic meter reading (AMR) and data communications technologies where he has been associated with metering solutions and applications for over 17 years.

As a former utility executive for a major investor-owned utility, Ed pioneered the installation of what remains one of the world's most fully integrated AMR systems and as an independent consultant has worked extensively with companies involved in developing and implementing both wired and wireless data communications technologies for the utility marketplace. He holds electrical engineering and MBA degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and is a licensed professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
