Roy O. BrandonRoy Brandon is a consultant in the field of Asset Management and Maintenance Management. He has nearly 25 years of Maintenance Management experience in both the public and private sectors and over 12 years of experience in the Maintenance Consulting field. A well known and widely respected professional, a central focus of Roy's career has been devoted to applying proven practices, methods and strategies for improving operational performance and reducing costs. With more than 30 major projects successfully completed throughout North America and the United Kingdom, Roy's work has been applied in numerous business and application areas including manufacturing, transportation and utilities. Among the most challenging was the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority (LAMTA) project where he served as Principal-in-Charge of the maintenance and materials management scope. This comprehensive project included the evaluation of 29 information systems and maintenance practices, resulting in more than $12 million in savings opportunities. Roy is also prolific writer with numerous articles and presentations to his credit throughout his career including seven for the Water/Wastewater industry alone. He holds a degree in Business & Management Sciences from Lower Columbia College and attended the University of Washington and Oregon State University in Project Management. He is a member of the Instrumentation, Systems & Automation Society (ISA); Instrumentation Testing Association of North America; American Water Works Association (AWWA); Water Environment Federation (WEF); and is an Executive Member of the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals. Roy resides in Rancho Murieta, CA. |
